More than 40 years ago Ufesa began and today the brand continues to its long journey with the same freshness it began with.
In the1960s conversations began between the main electrical appliance manufacturers with a view to embracing an ambitious project: to merge all of the manufacturers in one company with competitive strength both in the Spanish an European market.
In 1963 the UNIÓN DE FABRICANTES DE ELECTRODOMESTICOS (Union of Electrical Appliance Manufacturers) was known from then on as UFESA.
The 1970s saw the securing of the company in the market. In 1979 the company KRAINEL was founded in Vitoria for steam iron manufacturing.
In the 1980s COMERCIAL UFESA, S.A. was founded, specializing in the distribution of the brand’s products. This period brought an extraordinary expansion for the brand.
In 1987 another important qualitative jump came with first subsidiary in Europe: UFESA PORTUGAL.
The 1990s found sustained brand growth and an expansion in the range of products. The international dimension grows considerable.
At the end of this period, Ufesa joins BSH Group
BSH COMERCIAL UFESA, S.A. is absorbed by BSH PAE, S.L. and means the integration of the Ufesa Group in the BSH Group.
